Birth Plan? You can’t “plan” birth!

True.  The baby is the only one with a “plan” and everyone else follows along, doing their best to keep up.  Some birth professionals claim that a patient with a birth plan has a ticket straight to the O.R. for a Cesarean delivery.  Others say the patients with birth plans are the ones who have everything go wrong.  While this may be superstitious, it is not true.  Some couples choose to simply to call their birth plan by another name; a Birth Wish List or Birth Preferences.  Couples realize they cannot control this natural process perfectly but it is very worthwhile to let your wishes or preferences be known.
